Who Stole The Cookie from the Kookie Jar? - Kookie Jar can easily be ranked as the Finest Bakery in Kolkata. Nothing beats Kookie Jar. Kolkata’s love affair with Kookie Jar started in the year 1986 when they opened their first shop on Rawdon Street (just next to La Martiniere Kolkata) . After that there was no looking back. Kookie Jar is a retail outlet where you get the yummiest and tastiest of cakes in Kolkata. I freaked out on the Macaroon tart (baked to perfection with the tastiest chocolate whipped cream ) and the Chocolate Evasion( this chocolate cake actually has three tiers of different chocolate flavors ). You have to check out the wide array of delicacies before deciding your pick. Apart from the usual ones like black forest, pyramid, éclairs and so on….it also has the exotic ones like strawberries dipped in chocolate, lychee soufflé and coffee tart. If you are not much of a sweet person then please do not fret!!. They also have freshly made sandwiches, shwarmas, open sandwiches and the yummiest chicken envelope ( their trademark). P.S they also have outlets at C3 and City Centre.
