Tried it out a fortnight ago 2nd Oct to be precise, on insistence of a friend since they were renovating the restaurant. Decided to try out a soup & starter since no drinks were being served; ended up with practically a complete meal. The Dim Sum were great, particularly the steamed ones ~ both vegetarian & chicken. The soup, just the right quantity & extremely piping hot, the way I prefer. The fried chicken rice was great, not oily at all....The dessert pretty good. Service awesome...They delayed the sauce for dim sum; when pointed out, the half eaten plate of dim sum were whisked away & replaced with fresh sauces(Am sure lot of other restaurants do it but this was done by the waiter~~ great initiative & trust) Am waiting to revisit it again with family!

The last time I went to eat at "the all you can eat buffet" laden with crabs, jumbo prawns, etc etc, I wish I hadn't. It felt that the chef had taken a day off, and the assistants were making the food. Tasteless, not at all apetizing, and yes ended feeling "bloated". I guess it was just my bad day at Mainland China. Have eaten ala-carte there - its much better !

I used to be a regular at the one at Saki Naka way back when it opened with my friend, till one day we had the jumbo prawns there and we got - how do I put it, a bit "gaseous". Thinking it was a one off, we went again, and this time not only got "gaseous" but "liquid" as well!! That stopped our visits to Mainland. So it was with a lot of trepidation, and a lot of convincing from friends that "this one is really good", that I walked into the one at Andheri opp Cinemax. And it didn't disappoint!! The dim sums, the prawns in salt pepper, the chicken - good stuff. Not too expensive, and the quality remains consistent. Its not gourmet chinese, suitably tailored to the Indian palate - and they have a decently stocked bar as well. I celebrated my birthday there with my parents recently - came back feeling like a king :) - small birthday cake with candles, free darsan and happy birthday on the speakers!! Well done :)

I think the service and the food quality makes it worth the money. I was impressed when we asked for a starter recommendation. The captain suggested 2 of them. We did not like one of them. He asked us a few questions why we did not like it and the next moment got us another one on the house which was just to our taste. Their captains are actually your food consultant.

I was here a few weeks ago, on a business meeting. The thing that impressed me the most was their service. They really try to provide good service, and they don't mind going out of their way to impress you. The dishes are excellent, lots of variety if you are non-vegetarian. On the pricier side, but worth it ...
