This place is bad on service. There mid night buffet is a disaster.Now a days they care to hoots for customers. I hope the reviewers are not mixing up the review of this place with Versova, Andheri

At first, Pop tates will be some restaurant that you would say okay...lets try....but once you have the food and feel the ambience, you will never ever go into another restaurant. I guess Pop tates is a fabulous restaurant in the Malad region and you cannot stay away from its sizzlers and appetizers. Service is great and so is the ambience. I think that these factors contribute to the overwhelming popularity of the restaurant. Even the cocktails and the drinks served are good and you would never want to miss a chance to go there. One problem though is that you may have to wait a bit for your turn as the restaurant is always full. But, its really worth the wait.

I was hooked on to their first restaurant in 7 bungalows Andheri, when I first went there. A hip-hop casual where you can drop in with friends for a couple of drinks as well as a great dinner, or even entertain business associates over lunch. Had to always wait for a table as it is packed most times of the day. "Hungarian Ghoulash" soup, their sizzlers, the "Archies" types of food (burgers, milk shakes, etc) ensure a steady customer base of the young and the "not-so-young" people. One of my favorite hangouts.

The perfect place to quickly leave work by 6.30 & chill till around 9 when the music & crowd gets louder:) Excellent drinks, food & ambiance... been a regular at andheri west & malad for quite some time & should continue to do so.

Who hasn’t already heard of pop tates? For those who haven’t it’s a hangout place… a really famous hangout! I could start by mentioning everyone’s favorite ‘happy hours’ between 3.29 to 5.29 where you get one drink free on every one drink you order. So get the beer flowing… :) They have awesome sizzlers and good pastas too… The ambiance is as casual as it can get. (You can even get into an argument with the person on the next table if you are drunk enough.) They hold mid-night buffets on Friday nights which is another favorite. Don’t ever expect the place to be empty… ever! For the Sizzling sizzlers… For the drinks… for the dicey Enrique songs as well as my dose of rock… for providing me shelter when I skipped college… for giving me happy afternoons :)… and for a lot more… pop tates gets my high five! MEAL FOR TWO: 400-600
