Haveli it is… literally the whole place is themed like a village haveli! Be it the arched windows or people with mirror work Rajasthani costumes, haveli has a lot to offer in terms of eye candy! Get greeted by the panchayat themselves and enter the village full of friendly hospitable villagers! Sit like a maharaja on a khatiya or simply let the potter wheel you a pot! The village has a ‘patshala’ of its own (you’ll see if you go there). The place has so much to offer that it could get a little over whelming! If you like Punjabi music you could lounge around and watch a bhangra dance… if you believe in astrology go ahead and get your palm read… or let the village girls apply mehendi on your hand! The place is bursting with entertainment, games and so much more than I can describe! I loved the entertainment part of the place! The food is great to awesome (depending on what you are eating). Haveli has three restaurants… haveli inn, Theka, and mezzban. Haveli inn is where I visited. It is a thali restaurant which will serve you delicious unlimited veg food and sweets. But if you want to drink after a boost of entertainment then theka is the place for you. It serves both veg, non-veg and has a well equipped bar. Mezzban is a multi cuisine restaurant which is located outside the haveli. Its ambiance is breath taking. The chandelier on the ceiling spelt royalty in capital bold letters!! To enter the haveli you have to pay an entry charge of 275/- which includes a thali in haveli inn… however you can redeem the cover charge in any of the other restaurants. Haveli also has a boat which sails on versova creek if you are in a mood to romance the water. It also offers ‘Dirt Racing’ on a large dirty racing track. However I thought the dirt racing was expensive. If you are out with your better half you can book a room in the boat for an hour or more (depending on weather you can afford it – 1500 per hr). There is so much more to the place but better left for surprise! For the food and the entertainment haveli gets my thumbs
