Chawla Ka Dhaba - Mumbai

We make it a point to visit this place whenever we are in Mumbai. This time around, i must say i wasn't as impressed as i had been in the past. The food was ok, except for the kadhai paneer, which was very good. Also, the service this time around was a bit lethargic. I had to ask 3 different servers before i got a glass. The outdoor sitting is nice, i hope they can improve upon the food quality and service, i want to keep going back to Chawla's.

Tried it out for guests over from Gujarat. The butter chicken & hariyali chicken was just right, with definitely different, color & taste to both. The rotis were delivered hot & biryani was also pretty good. Definitely on my list of using it more often.

Food at Chawla da dhaba is always awesome... a regular rest and family favorite. Mr. Adhikari, manager there really focuses on customer services. He is a great guy making the place a very homely place. Would suggest all to go and have a food atleast once to only become a reregular there.

It's a good place if you are looking for dhaba style ambience and food. they have open seating and indoor. have only sat outside. one thing to be aware about is the possibility of mosquitos; though they do put kachuwa agarbati or some other stuff like that. The appetizers were really good and the best was pani puri. They also have folks do the bhagra. This is my nephew's favorite place. he wants to go there directly when he lands in mumbai.
