Good gujju thali serving place, to visit on a sunday afternoon. Try to reach by 12 or it gets too crowded. You have the same line of suspects with aam ras during season, undhiyu etc. Eat till you resemble a turkey, waddle out, go home for a seista.

In the mood for a thali? Kalash is what you would desire. Located in Raghulela mall in Kandivali west, the place is crowded dwring lunch hours. They offer different types of thali to suite every apitite and pocket. They have a royal thali, a classic thali, an executive thali and even a diet thali. The menu changes with every meal and guarantees appreciation of one dish or another. I loved the nav ratan kurma they served in my thali apart from the ‘everything else’. To go with your delicious gujju food a bowl of aam ras and a glass of chass keeps you gratified. Experiment with all kinds of dishes prepared and indulge in some chapatti dripping with sinful ghee. The hospitality is over whelming… so much that you get tired of sayin ‘no thanks’. The waiters clad in gujju attire will make sure your plate is full at all times. Lavish food… Majestic ambience… Grand experience! The place is a must visit if you stay in the northern suburbs.
