Hard Rock Cafe! Mumbai is blessed by the rock gods to have this pub in town. Hard Rock Cafe around the world aren't just a bar, they're a museums. This one being no different has original artifacts like Led Zeppelin's oud-shaped acoustic guitar, Pearl Jam's Martin acoustic guitar and many more artifacts adorn their vastly spaced walls. Now, this place is HUGE. I mean the only place in Mumbai which has 4 different decks with four different bars! Alll of this adds to the brilliant ambiance. The music needless to say is brilliant, I could never imagine anyone in Mumbai playing Black Dog or Pinball Wizard. Live performances is the high point of this place and Thursdays, Tuesdays is their live performance nights as of what I last heard (Please check to be certain). Entries on Live performance nights is Rs.250, out of which Rs.150 is covered inside. Drinks inside is a slightly heavy on the pocket as pint of Kingfisher would burn a hole of Rs.150 in your wallet. Same would go for any domestic spirit (mixed). The crowd this place attracts is also good, you wouldn't find the riff-raff from a regular rock concert although this place is just about that. Last but no the least, like all HRC's around the world, they have a souvenir shop stocking t-shirts, tops, keychains, etc with "Hard Rock Mumbai" titled on it.

With a name inspired from an album of The Doors named Morrison Hotel, Hard Rock Café keeps up with the expectations one may have from this world renowned chain of restobars. Besides its All-American Menu bearing interesting names-mostly influenced by Rock Legends and Songs ; a selective range of cocktails like Hurricane (Must have!) , Sex on the beach and Long Island Iced Tea; luscious desserts (the strawberry cheesecake is yum!)—it has a retail shop where one can purchase Hard-Rock branded clothing and world-famous memorabilia of artists from around the world. It’s 6000 square feet is arranged into split levels adorned with many a memorabilia pieces displayed in illuminated boxes placed around the seating arrangement . Thursday and Friday nights are highly recommended as there is a live band performance resulting in a electrifying atmosphere where the loud music, amazing food , delectable drinks and a company closest to one’s heart ensures a night to remember ( caution: the price is pretty unforgettable too ).
