Shahrukh's finest work so far. Must give full marks to director Ashutosh for channelling out the essence of India and the focus on every minute detail for making this movie a classic.

Swades is a very approachable flick which awakens a common man's conscience to do something for motherland.. Shahrukh Khan tries level-best to improve his mother town's living style.. Gayatri Joshi is a very reticent kind off girl in the movie..who's smart and doesn't pay heed to Shahrukh's love for her..she's done a very simple performance.. It's a brilliant attempt and really worth a watch..very appreciable..especially for upcoming youngsters who are the only future for our country..need to learn a lot from this movie..
